Learning Innovation Talk 03 @ IMU

Learning Innovation Talk was started by leading e-Learning experts of Malaysia. The idea behind Learning Innovation Talks LIT is to organize 2-3 events per year, whereby educators can get together to share their learning and teaching innovations with one another in a more informal, relaxed, learning enriched, and innovative manner compared to traditional conferences and seminars.

There is no fixed format, and it is up to the organizer to explore and innovate how sharing and learning should take place. The first two LIT events were held at University of Malaya (7 March, 2012), and Taylor’s University (20 November, 2012) respectively. For details click here

The 3rd round of LIT was organized by IMU. I was lucky to be part of the Organizing Team under the supervision of Capt. Zaid. We started working on this project about two months ago. When we had meeting with The e-Learning Team.

Last week was on full swing. When we face challenges…Fist was to have WizIQ support to increase the class subscription to 500++ participant which they did when Zaid send them email, thanks to WizIQ. Several more challenges were overcome by the organizing team. Two days prior to the online event we tested the (Internet,Software and hardware) with the speakers. It was hard job but well managed by Zaid. We had hashtag for the event #LIT03. I would like to share the tweets in PDF file.

It was awesome experience of whole day spending online with speakers around the world and lot of learning. I would like to share some of the slides by speakers at LIT03.
